Construction Updates

Overview of New Construction
We are happy to keep you informed about the construction progress by period.

July 2024 
Preparations, piling, facade demolition, and water drainage work.

August/September 2024 
The piling and demolition work has been completed. Preparations for the foundation are currently underway.

September 30, 2024
The reinforcement of the foundation has been completed, and the footings have been installed. These footings provide extra strength to the foundation by evenly distributing the load from the overlying elements, such as walls and floors, across the ground.

October 7, 2024
The installation of crawl spaces has begun. During this phase, the sewer system, rainwater drainage, air ducts, and power cables are being installed. Everything is being prepared so that the floor can be laid.

October 11, 2024
The swimming pool has been installed. This pool, delivered pre-made, is constructed from plastic and features a bench and a small staircase. The luxury finishing will follow in a later stage of construction.

October 30, 2024
Today, the insulated hollow-core slabs were placed on the foundation. The next step is the installation of the edge formwork, after which the pouring of the cell seams and a 7 cm concrete structural compression layer will start next week. By the end of the week, the ground floor will be fully structurally ready.

Week 47
From week 47 to the end of the year, site pipes will be installed.

Week 1/3
During these weeks, the tower crane will be installed. This crane is essential for the construction of the hotel tower. The lower parts, such as the wellness and meeting rooms, will be built with mobile cranes. The tower crane has a height of 40 metres, while our tower will be about 26 metres.

Week 4/5
An exciting phase in construction: the concrete walls of the first floor are being placed! The hotel is really starting to take shape now, as we take to the air!
