Our Bar/Brasserie in Groningen is open from Monday to Friday from 8.00 am - 0.00 am and on weekends from 9.00 am - 0.00 am. Guests with a (assistance) dog can have lunch and dinner à la carte in our brasserie. Dogs must be kept on a leash and are not expected to cause any nuisance.
DE WIT - ABOUT BAR & BRASSERIE IN GRONINGEN
Corry de Wit van Texel became Corry van der Valk of the road restaurant de Biltsche Hoek. Klaas van der Valk fell in love with the fresh blue eyes, her enthusiasm and humor. After they tied the knot in 1951, Klaas and Corry set their sights in 1956 on the old dilapidated Biltsche Hoek, on the road from Utrecht to Amersfoort. Because Klaas van der Valk died at the age of 44, Corry was forced to take over the exploitation. And Corry manages to make the company even more successful and also raise nine children. Corry van der Valk-de Wit passed away in May 2017 at the age of 90. As a tribute to our mother, mother-in-law and grandmother, the family names the Bar & Brasserie of Van der Valk Hotel Groningen-Hoogkerk after her.
