We have come up with something fun for our seniors, namely the 4-day Senior Package. We offer the opportunity to enjoy the surroundings at Van der Valk Hotel Groningen-Hoogkerk. In the morning you can enjoy our buffet and in the evening you can enjoy a three-course dinner in Restaurant Groen. And not just once, but for four days!

Discover the beautiful surroundings around our hotel, between city and country! For example, rent an (electric) bicycle and cycle through the beautiful nature reserve De Onlanden. The area has rugged meadows, swamp forest and is also known as the backyard of Groningen. De Onlanden has been designated as a protected nature reserve and falls under Natura 2000. You will also pass through picturesque villages such as Peize, Vries, Tynaarlo and Onnen. It is also possible to visit the famous dolmens by bike. Various cycling routes at the reception, so there is something for everyone! It is of course possible to bring your own bicycle, which you can store in our bicycle shed.

In the center of Groningen you can enjoy shopping or visit the Groninger Museum. Or would you rather experience a cultural evening at the Martini Plaza event location?
